JOHN FEARING | Graphic Designer
I grew up in the college town of Gainesville, FL. I'm the middle of five children and I have two wonderful parents who support me in all my endeavors. My family was very involved in Boy Scouts which taught me to work hard and to treat people with respect. My father began building classic cars during his free time when I was young. In high school, I had the opportunity to rebuild a 1969 Chevelle with him which became my car upon completion.
After High school, I attended Santa Fe Community College and earned two degrees: An Associate of Arts in General Education and an Associate of Science in Graphic Design. During my second year in the Graphic Design program, I was offered a position of Teaching Assistant which allowed me to assist many students with questions related to design as well as the programs and tools we use to create projects. While in the Graphic Design program I also began an internship at Blu Dove Designs. When my internship was complete I was asked to continue working at Blu Dove Designs. I've learned many things while working at Blu Dove and thoroughly enjoy working there.
My passion for design drove me to pursue my Bachelors degree at SCAD,
Savannah College of Art & Design. I was able to learn so many things while
studying there and I had the opportunity to go to many lectures from amazing
designers such as Massimo Vignelli, Phillipe Apeloig, Mattaeo Bologna,
Chipp Kidd & D.J. Stout. I also met my beautiful wife Samantha at SCAD.
We currently live in the Cincinnati, OH area.
